Revision Tips For The BPTC

There is so much (so so much) revision for the BPTC! We all have our ways of revising, but it's always good to develop our revision and get the most out of it... Here you will find some great tips to help you smash your exams!

1. Voice Recordings

So simple! Use a recording device, preferably the one on your phone (you can take this anywhere with you), and record any and everything you need to remember for your exam.

You can go into as much or as little detail as you want.

Play it back and listen to this anytime of the day and as often as you would like until you are satisfied you have remembered it!

2. Don't forget to LIVE your life

I have in the past been so stuck in my books and laptop that I forget that I am not a robot and that I actually have a life outside of my studies. Please, please, please don't forget to make YOURSELF a priority because one thing I have learnt is that a couple of hours of you doing something that makes you happy will ALWAYS help you apply yourself more to your studies. Lack of doing things that make you happy will definitely begin to take a toll on you physically, mentally and socially.

So what should you do? As well as revising;

- go for a walk/ run

- catch up on your TV series/ soap

- do some cooking

- go to the gym/ do a home workout

- listen to some music/ podcast

- read a book

- do some praying/ meditating

3. Plan your revision

Duh! Sounds really obvious doesn't it? But you'd be really surprised at how many of us sit down to begin revision but don't even know where to start from.

- know when your exam is taking place, note how long you have to revise and plan how long you will revise certain topics for

- go through the curriculum and note material you need to know
